The poet Carducci, who stayed here, has made this beautiful village with the poem "In front of San Guido." The access road to the village is in fact mentioned in the verses of poetry: "the tall cypresses of Bolgheri and frank van from San Guido in double files ..."
Bolgheri is located a few miles from the sea and offers visitors glimpses of the typical landscape of Tuscany: olive groves, vineyards and stone houses, houses are nestled in the hills and surrounding countryside, in a succession of sinuous harmonies with wonderful colors in any natural time of the season.
